Bioshock Out of Control

Tuesday, September 18th, 2007

Wow, I was playing Bioshock today and all I can say is that just when I thought the game could not get anymore bloody or gore filled. You smash a guy over the head with a golf club. not just a little bit. You bash him repeatedly. You don’t have control of the character at this point of the game. I must say that its a little bit disturbing to watch. It kind of crazy…

Parking Changes Hands

Monday, September 17th, 2007

Well I got an e-mail from Kennesaw State, tell me that parking has changed hands. It is now in the control of the Lanier Parking Staff. Thats right. Kennesaw State does not control parking anymore? Will this help anything out? I sure hope so. Lanier is a real parking company so I would really hope that they know what they are doing. Info on parking can be found at kennesaw.edu/parking. The site is mostly geared to the faculty and staff. So watch what info you read.

KSU Interpersonal Violence Survey

Sunday, September 9th, 2007

I know no one actually checks vista, so I’m posting this here:

Researchers from the Department of Psychology, Drs. Marsil and McNamara, are collecting data to determine the prevalence of interpersonal violence among students, faculty, and staff of Kennesaw State University. The purpose of this research is to gather valuable information for the Task Force of Interpersonal Violence (TIV), Wellness Center, and KSU community. This knowledge will allow the TIV to develop programs for educating the KSU community about interpersonal violence, to provide more services to victims of interpersonal violence who attend and/or work at KSU, and to prevent interpersonal violence from occurring. Please do not complete the survey more than once. You do not have to be a victim of interpersonal violence to participate in this survey. We appreciate your contribution to our research and the KSU community.

Here is the link to the survey

Be warned if you don’t like talking about sex, this survey is not for you…

ATLPartylife.com = party time

Friday, September 7th, 2007

I found a new website today. It http://www.atlpartylife.com. Its sort of like city search, but it only focuses in Atlanta, which seems to give it an edge. The search seems very easy to use, just type in the type of food, place, street, area or other keyword and it pull up a listing. You can sort by name, or reviews, or the rating people have given places.

The reviews seem quite in dept, almost like the people running the site have been to these places. (Maybe they have). I’ve found quite a few places that I have never heard of before, such as the Atlanta Fish Market or the Krog Bar. I’m defenatly going to stop by and checkout these places asap.(If I didn’t have class I might be there now )

The just don’t list restaurants and bars. They also list clubs in Atlanta, we all know that the club scene in Atlanta has been going through some changes and Atlpartylife.com seems the be keeping up with those changes. Atlparylife list all he clubs such as Opera and they don’t list clubs that have closed or moved such as places like city search do.

Be sure to check ATLPartylife.com out..

iphone = Free $100

Thursday, September 6th, 2007

All I can say is wow.. Do you have an iphone? Do you want $100 dollars? Well apple is giving it to ya, sort of… It seems that apple has been getting a ton of complaints about the $200 drop in the iphone that was announced yesterday. Because of this Steve Jobs has just announced that there will be a $100 dollars apple credit given to all iphone users. (Unless u got some sort of rebate when you purchased yours)

You can check out the official press release here

Here is a quote with the imporant  part of the letter:

Therefore, we have decided to offer every iPhone customer who purchased an iPhone from either Apple or AT&T, and who is not receiving a rebate or any other consideration, a $100 store credit towards the purchase of any product at an Apple Retail Store or the Apple Online Store. Details are still being worked out and will be posted on Apple’s website next week. Stay tuned.

Some  of yall just lucked out… Not as much as those that waited to buy theirs, but still who’s complaining about a free $100 from apple. Not me..

Fighting the Man

Wednesday, September 5th, 2007

Last week, I got a ticket, read it here. Today its time to fight the man. That right I’m not going to take it. I’m fighting this one… Kennesaw State University has enough of my money. They don’t need any more. I doubt that I will win. I’ve heard that its almost impossible to get out parking tickets on campus, but what did I do wrong? Park? Kennesaw State has a parking problem. They need to focus on fixing it, not giving stupid tickets for parking your parents mini van on campus!!!

The man

Just like Jack Black did. I plan on stick’en it to the man.

The strange people

Tuesday, September 4th, 2007

So in class today my professor had an interesting point. You know that weird kid in class. Yes you all do, the one that looks likes he might shoot up the class at any moment. You want to be friends with that kid. Why? The reason my professor explained is simple: When that kid goes and shoots up the school and your running down the hallway trying to get away and he spots you, instead of shooting you he’ll be like “Hey man wassup. Naw man, I’m not going to shoot you. You’ll cool, you talk to me” .  Well I guess thats a valid point. This is the kind of thing that one learns in class these days…

P.S. I’m wouldn’t be surprised if my professor get fired for saying these types of things… But I like this class.
